May 27 Adoptable Dog Hiking Meet-Up!

Join us for our next Adoptable Dog Hiking Meet-Up! 

Once you sign up an email with more detailed information will be sent! 

We will meet on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 am at Soul Dog Rescue in Fort Lupton. After a short orientation and welcome to the shelter, we will discuss what type of dog each volunteer feels comfortable walking and if any volunteers have any preferences we can try to stick to (i.e. wanting to walk a female dog). Once we know which shelter pup is going to which volunteer, we will pair everyone up one at a time. From there, each volunteer takes their shelter pup to their car and drives to nearby Milavec Reservoir, only about 25 mins from the shelter. Then we meet at there, and walk around the lake! At the end each volunteer takes their shelter pup back to the shelter. Volunteers are welcome to continue walking your pup until as late as 3 pm and then return them. Please Note - once you fill out the form, you will be added to Soul Dog Rescue's general volunteer list, you can absolutely choos to opt-out by sending an email to volunteer@souldog.org and it is no problem at all. If you would like to stay on the list, you are certainly welcome!
