Join us for our second Adoptable Dog Hiking Meet-Up! Our first meet up was an amazing success and had a really great impact on the shelter pups!

Join us for our next Adoptable Dog Hiking Meet-Up!

We will meet on Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 am at Soul Dog Rescue in Fort Lupton. After a short orientation and welcome to the shelter, we will discuss what type of dog each volunteer feels comfortable walking and if any volunteers have any preferences we can try to stick to (i.e. wanting to walk a female dog). Once we know which shelter pup is going to which volunteer, we will pair everyone up one at a time. From there, each volunteer takes their shelter pup to their car and drives to nearby Milavec Reservoir, only about 25 mins from the shelter. Then we meet at there, and walk around the lake! At the end each volunteer takes their shelter pup back to the shelter. Volunteers are welcome…
