Horseshoe Trail to Frazer Meadows Trail
Distance and Gain: 3.8 miles, out & back, ~950 ft
Difficulty: Moderate
Notes: Entrance fee is $10, must bring cash for this fee and pay at the entrance using the provided envelopes. State-park pass holders do not need to pay to enter.
Parking: A little tricky on weekends to find a spot, encourage carpooling and arriving early
Post-Hike Options: Resolute Brewing Tap & Cellar in Arvada has a dog-friendly patio with heaters and the "Mile-High Cheesesteaks" Food Truck scheduled starting at 12 pm.
New Terrain Brewing Company in Golden has an adjacent dog park, outdoor dog-friendly seating, and the "Tacos With Altitude" Food Truck scheduled starting at 12 pm.
